From the banks of the Sarthe to the banks of the Loir
Department rich in its hydrography, the Sarthe takes its name from the eponymous river which runs all along its territory. Communication route now mainly used for tourist purposes, it presents with its tributary the Loir two valleys which conceal some historical, cultural or natural treasures.
