The centenary of the greatest endurance race in the world will take place on June 10 & 11, 2023. To experience and share with family or friends.
1923 – 2023, 100 years of stories
La Sarthe is preparing to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Created in 1923, the competition has made a lasting mark on the history of world motorsport and is part of the Sarthe identity. From the first victory of the Chenard and Walcker car in 1923 to the last victory of the Toyota hypercar in 2022, the 90 editions have been the scene of mechanical and technological struggles that have moved the automotive world forward.
2023, the race of the century
The centenary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans promises to be historic. With the new regulations introduced in 2020, replacing LMP1 (Le Mans Prototype) with HyperCars (LMH and LMDH), the major manufacturers who forged the legend of Le Mans are back.
The fight between Toyota, Ferrari (whose big comeback after 40 years of absence), Porsche (holder of the number of victories at Le Mans), Peugeot and Cadillac promises to be epic!
